Next Loop & Samsung: Galaxy Grade Excellence
Samsung devices require a unique approach to grading, especially regarding OLED screens. We break down our stringent testing for the S-Series and Foldables.
The Android Flagship
Samsung remains the volume leader in the global smartphone market. For our B2B partners, stocking the Galaxy S-Series (S23, S24, S25) is essential to offering a complete portfolio.
The OLED Challenge
Samsung displays are beautiful, but they can be fragile. "Screen Burn" (permanent discoloration) is the enemy of refurbished Samsung value.
- Our Standard: We do NOT sell devices with visible screen burn as "Grade A" or "Grade B". These are strictly segregated into "Grade C" or "Burn Stock".
- Shadow Check: We test devices in a dark room with a pure white background to identify even faint pink shadowing common in heavy-use AMOLED panels.
Knox Security
Samsung's Knox security layer is robust. We check the Knox Counter (0x0 vs 0x1) on every device.
- If the Knox counter is tripped (indicating previous rooting or unauthorized software modification), the device is rejected from our premium stock, as secure banking apps may not work.
Foldables (Z Flip / Z Fold)
We handle foldables with extreme caution.
- Hinge Test: We robotically cycle the hinge to listen for dust intrusion or "crunching".
- Crease Inspection: We inspect the inner screen protector and the crease for any signs of micro-fractures.
