Operational Compliance
Transparency is the core of our partner relationships. This page details how Next Loop manages internal waste, adheres to WEEE regulations, and executes responsible disposal strategies for every device that enters our facility.
Circular Parts Management
In our E-Commerce Returns Management workflow, disposal is the last resort. We vigorously examine every returned asset to maximize value for our partners.
- 1
Forensic Examination
Components are tested against OEM specifications. Only parts meeting strict quality thresholds are considered for reuse.
- 2
Reuse & Reintegration
Functional parts are cleaned, graded, and returned to the seller's inventory, reducing the need for new procurement.
- 3
Secure Disposal
Items damaged beyond repair are stripped of identifier data and routed to our certified downstream material partners.
Return Unit Assessment
98% IntegrityLogic Board
High-value IC extraction candidate.
OLED Assembly
Retained for repair inventory.
Li-Ion Battery (72% Health)
Degraded capacity. Routed for material recovery.
Internal Waste Streams
Our facility generates specific types of technical waste. Here is how we handle them safely and legally.
Lithium Ion Batteries
Degraded power cells pose a fire risk. We utilize fire-safe containment storage and partner with specialized chemical recyclers to recover cobalt and lithium, strictly avoiding general waste channels.
Packaging & Cardboard
We operate industrial balers to compact cardboard waste for direct paper mill recycling. We actively reduce plastic usage, favoring biodegradable void fill for all outbound logistics.
BER Hardware
Devices deemed "Beyond Economic Repair" are harvested for ICs and connectors. The remaining PCBs are smelted for precious metal recovery (Gold, Copper, Palladium) via certified refineries.
Our Regulatory Commitment
Next Loop is fully licensed by the Environment Agency. We hold T11 exemptions for repairing returning goods and S2 exemptions for waste storage. Every downstream movement is tracked via Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes.
